30582965 Light Fawn We lost our gorgeous Andres unexpectedly due to an obstruction. After a lengthy stay at the University hospital, Andres passed away in 2019 unable to recover from surgery. This was a painful loss for our farm as we enjoyed this beautiful boy.
Long, slick and silky from head to toe to tail! That is the only way to describe this outstanding boy of ours. Andres is a perfect example of Light Fawn and his fleece has garnered multiple awards, just as he has. His confirmation is wonderful and his teeth are just perfect… there is not much else you can ask for from a suri, and really with his background none of that is a surprise. His sire was Snowmass Nautilus, who is out of Peruvian Macgyver!, and his dam was Gillian Rose who has Pperuvian Inca as her sire. Plenty of good DNA to pass around out of that group.
Andres averages 23.9 micron at 6 years old. He has a great personality and is easy going in the pasture.

LHSA Valor has an agreeable personality and is easy to handle at an average of 120-130 pounds. His size is also a desired trait for breeding and his fiber statistics are an excellent addition to any breeding program.
LHSA Valor is our eye-catching Light Fawn son of LCA Andres. His pedigree includes Snowmass Nautilus, Macgyver, Yuma of Long Hollow, and PPeruvian Angel. Valor consistently shears 3.5-4 pounds of fiber annually. During his show career, Valor repeatedly received good scores for his fineness, handle, color, and length.
Valor's density is 52 follicles /sq. mm, with a S/P of 12.9. His secondary fibers average 19.7 micron with primaries at 29.3 micron, and a spread of 9.6 micron. Valor's AFD is 20.4 and is ranked in the top 25% EPDs.
A word about the health practices at Long Hollow Suri Alpacas… We take the health of our herd seriously.
• All alpacas are vaccinated annually, and bred females are vaccinated 30-60 days prior to birth of their cria.
• Fecal flotations are performed on EACH individual alpaca monthly and treatment is completed on a per alpaca basis.
• All alpacas receive monthly injections as a precaution against meningeal worm.
• Bred females receive a minimum of 1 ultrasound performed onsite by a veterinarian and our veterinary technician.
We interact daily with all our animals to ensure any medical needs are addressed as needed and this improves their socialization.
