Description

Bellagio is a curious amalgam of four of our most important genetic lines here at CCNF. Most obviously, he is the the son MFI Peruvian Precocious, the white Futurity Champion and 2012 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year we co own with the good folks at Magical Farms. His Dam Bellisima is a treasure trove in her own right though: the daughter of CCNF Archangel and fawn AOBA National Champion, CCNF Bellarina, who was in turn the product of SuperNova and the legendary Accoyo dam, PPP Pachelbel. Needless to say this boy has got the goods. It was not by chance that Bellagio's 2012 fleece was the Judges' Choice winner at the 2013 MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show, nor that *this* year's fleece just won the White Huacaya Male Championship at the 2013 AOBA National Fleece Show!

Some of the most impressive Precocious kids from his first crop of crias here at CCNF were born to our mature Archangel daughters and Bellagio is no exception. Displaying a highly organized, dense, and fine fleece, he has all the qualities of a legitimate front-line Herdsire. Though we will continue to offer this exceptional alpaca for sale, we are also opening him up for outside breeding in 2013 with an introductory stud fee of $2,000.
