INTRODUCTORY

Sire: ELK Dom Lucilio's Eclipse ARI#
30546660 Bay Black This a great opportunity to obtain a first class, show winning champion male at a great price. Our herd is decreasing and we greatly and have another male that has taken over his breedings.
Eclipse has been producing show winning crias with extreme fineness, density and character that the judges love. A high percentage of his offspring are modern greys (grey with no spots).
His sire, Dom Lucilio, is well known for producing consistent show winning offspring. His dam has been one of the top top show winning extremely dark, bay black, beautifully proportioned male with an extremely dense fleece that exhibits phenomenal character and uniformity. We have also been very pleased with the improvement he is producing over and above the dam.
From his very first cria crop he has produced numerous blue ribbons and champions. His sire, Dom Lucilio is likely the most awarded, proven son of the renowned Accoyo import, Royal Fawn.
Eclipse joined our Champion Herdsire Row with a Reserve Champion placement at ABR Fall Festival 2008. He also joins the Champions Producing Champions herdsire row with multiple champion and blue winning offspring on the ground.
Eclipse has done so well it would be a shame that he not to continue somewhere. He is an easy to handle and produces exciting crias with a future.
Dam: Stargazer's Selene ARI#
1215168 Light Brown Selene has multiple generations of quality on both sides. Her sire, Accoyo Augusto, is no longer available to outside breedings and is mostly bred to white. Her dam, Junie B (black), is the only non-grey offspring of two fawn parents with Accoyo Leon and Drambuie as her grandsire.
At a very young age Selene shows confidence, independence and presence that many alpacas never develop. This blue ribbon Accoyo Augusto daughter is very fine and has an excellent handle. Her first fleece has beautiful bundling and crimp.
Selene would be a great addition to an elite color breeding program. We consider this girl to be an "F4". She is the result of multiple generations of superb breedings. Her genetics are made up of Peruvian Drambuie, Accoyo Leon and Accoyo Augusto. A blockbuster genotype with a strong color background.
She delivered a stunning female cria sired by Royal Gold in 2008. It was hard to decide who to breed her to for the 2009 cria and chose Eclipse, to bring out her color background. Cant wait to see what she delivers next!
Description
This is a beautiful male. Priced to sell now! Need to make room.
Challenger is the perfect male for the alpaca farm looking for unique and friendly animals as well as high quality fiber production. His color is best described as a modern rose grey wanna be. It is a beautiful variegated fleece with great structure and density along with grey, white and black fibers. Just not significant enough to be shown the modern medium rose grey class. He has gorgeous fleece that is the results of a long line of great genetics in every generation of his ancestry. (Royal Fawn, Augusto and Drambuie)
His barn name is Sam and we would love to see him placed in a family environment that is looking for an enjoyable livestock experience.
We hope you find his price favorable for what he has to offer.
Challenger EPDs show he will reduce AFD and increase fleece weight. His ability to increase staple length is in the 10 % of all males!

This boy has beautiful fleece but did not qualify for light rose grey. these are great placements considering he was judged against solid fawns and he has light and dark fibers interspersed.
