Description

“Tuco” is a handsome dark fawn (fleece sorters have said MRG) male with black points inherited from his jet black sire. His produces mounds of fleece with luster, crimp and staple length (check out his 6 month fleece picture).

Tuco’s sire Vesuvius is out of two grey parents including well-known herdsire Socosani, a silver grey Peruvian import. Vesuvius has soft fleece with good hand, and he has passed those qualities along to his son. His noteworthy ancestry doesn’t end on his sire’s side. Mom Vanity is a granddaughter of Canadian Grand Champion Orlando on her dam’s side and PPPeruvian Don Juan (170+ registered offspring) on her sire’s side. With this impressive and colorful heritage, Tuco has an amazing foundation.

Tuco's price does not reflect his quality! I agist my alpacas and sometimes have to make difficult sales decisions ... Tuco is one of those difficult choices. He is a curious, easy-going boy who loves a good snack. In summer of 2013 Tuco broke his leg. He was splinted, had x-rays and is now fully recovered, but he does walk with a slight limp (vet says this may or may not go away in time). It does not affect his ability to run, wrestle or play with his fellow herd mates (20+ intact male alpacas and llamas).

Take advantage of this great price and add Tuco to your herd.
