Huacaya, Female, Unproven | Medium Brown
ARI# 31134002, D.O.B. 5/9/2009, 7/8 Peruvian
Sire: Accoyo America Phoenix ARI#
851807 Medium Fawn Not Actually Sold as he passed away, but I didn't want to delete him as we have his genetics on our farm!
Accoyo America Phoenix is a spectacular example of Hemi-Accoyo genetics. He is the much decorated Medium Fawn son of Phoenicia, a full Peruvian, True Black, Camilio daughter who is also an AOBA National Black Color Champion. His Sire, Vic Junior, is the best-known full Peruvian son of Accoyo Victor, and grandson of Peruvian Hemingway. Phoenix is extremely dense with a bright fleece arranged in well-differentiated, long-stapled bundles. He’s a robust, vigorous, well-conformed herdsire with a long and successful show record. His annualized fleece weight for 2007 was 11.8 pounds and this 4th fleece still has amazing character and fineness.
Oh my, Phoenix's cria have arrived, and we are NOT disappointed: Color, Density, Fineness, and Character. What more can we ask for? We now know we are extremely fortunate to have added this outstanding male to our herdsire row. Please email or phone to schedule a breeding.
Dam: Legacy's Jezibel ARI#
848064 Dark Fawn Quite simply stated, Jezibel is one very beautiful and majestic female. A daughter of Crescent Moon Ranch’s Accoyo Peruvian Legacy, and a grand daughter of the great Accoyo Don Julio. Jezibel is 3/4 Accoyo with significant color and magnificent fleece. Her medium fawn blanket displays excellent uniformity, a very high frequency crimp, fineness, and outstanding brightness. We feel lucky to have Jezibel on our farm.
Description
It really is all about the fleece with our Clarabel. Her fleece has a high frequency crimp that is both fine (19.3 AFD) and uniform giving her fleece a very a soft handle. Notice her histogram, low SD, CV and lack of guard hair! Given Clarabel’s outstanding genetics this is no surprise. She is a Legacy granddaughter and her Sire is Phoenix who brings in both the Camilio and Victor lines. Judge Jude Anderson certainly thought that Clarabel was something special, awarding Clarabel a 2nd in a large class at GWAS, one of the largest shows in the US.
Clarabel really IS one of those girls I would like to keep, but we need to reduce our numbers so now you get the opportunity to own this quality girl and capture her great genetics and fleece characteristics for your farm.
