Sire: Snowmass Nova's Nuance ARI#
840847 Bay Black Nuance is an "incredible Incan Black Male from a Royal Line of Elite Fibered Alpacas in Color" from the Snowmass breeding program. Incan Magic, one of Nuance's Grandsires, has a strong history of holding fineness even with age. Incan Magic's dam remains an amazing 16 microns at 9 years of age. Nuance’s Dam, Incan Surprise, has exhibited the same fiber attributes. His sire, Snowmass Nova, has been a multiple champion and is an excellent producer. Nova sold at the Snowmass “The Making of Champions” auction in Feb. '06 for $335,000. Nuance’s pedigree of predicable fiber characteristics and award winning genetics are what we have been striving for in our breeding program. We have bred him to a number of our award-winning females and excitedly look forward to his offspring each year. Nova's Nuance is co-owned with ALPACAS of Tualatin Valley. Visit our
website for the most up-to-date information and to view his cria.
Dam: El Nino's Clarita ARI#
836842 White Clarita is our first home raised girl, and what a beauty. The daughter of El Nino, and granddaughter of Camilio, she has all the right genetics. She is a charmer, and was a wonderful first cria. We didn’t show Clarita her first year, as we were so new in the business. But on her way back east to be bred, the Lavans, of Chase Tavern Farms offered to show her at MAPACA, where she got 4th in a very large (14) class of yearling white females. Clarita now has produced three spectacular daughters for us and is one of our best production females on the farm. Clarita’s 1st cria Valencia has an awesome fleece with amazing density and brightness and a histogram at 11 months of 16.9 AFD; 3.2 SD; 18.3 CV; & 0.7 %>30u. Her sire is full Peruvian Greybeard so we are hoping for some grey cria from her! Clarita’s 2nd cria, Choco-latte was equally spectacular selling for $27,000 at the 2007 AOBA auction.
Service Sire: ATV Silver Elation_deleted_7/12/2023 6:42:37 PM ARI#
31118149 Light Silver Grey Due Date: 5/20/2011 One of Silver Elation’s yearling daughters, Sheer Heaven, achieved Grey Color Champion at the 2021 Alpaca Western Extravaganza show! Also one of his Juvenile daughters got a 2nd place in the Juv. Light Silver Grey class at the same show. Also previously many of his offspring have won blue ribbons and championships.
Silver Elation is a rare dilute silver gray with an incredibly soft, well bundled and consistent fleece without any spots. This male was born with a distinct Classic Silver Gray pattern which all but disappeared as his fiber dried. Every person who has seen him has been impressed by this amazing fleece that appears platinum in color with white in the neck, bib, face and legs.
When we took him to two very competitive shows in 2008, he was put into an indefinite class which did not allow him to show appropriately but he still won the Blue Ribbons.
Originally, I Proudly Co-Owned him with ALPACAS of Tualatin Valley! But now I completely own Silver Elation. You will get full ownership of him with this purchase!
Many of Silver Elation’s cria , have won 1st place and Gunsmoke won 1st and Reserve Color Champ at Alpacapalooza 2012 as did Sheer Heaven in 2021.at AWE.
As much as we really love Silver Elation, we do need to downsize our herd. He will be a great addition to your herd.
Oh and some sad news! Which is why I’ve reduced his cost! His knee on his back leg is hurting him and the vet that saw him thought that he could be repaired with a surgery at Oregon State vet hospital! He still has wonderful fleece so that way the $100 price is OK. If you purchase him and get his leg repaired he likely could be a good male again but I’m not completely sure! But for only $100 he is worth that for his fleece! Hope someone is interested in purchasing him! Only reason I’m willing to sell him is I have one of his wonderful males, Palladium! So I will get to keep his genetics!
Description
Dolce-Latte is a beautiful vicuna colored Med. Fawn gal with an impressive set of Accoyo and Grey genetics. Dolce-Latte’s dam, Clarita, is a white El Nino daughter out of a Rose Grey Camilio dam. Her sire, Snowmass Nova’s Nuance, is a Bay Black Nova son, and has two well known Grey Grandfathers, Snowmass Casanova and Incan Magic. This combination of Clarita and Nuance was a winning one for us before! Dolce-Latte’s full sister, Choco-Latte, sold in the AOBA 2007 Auction for $27,000. Like her sister, Dolce Latte has an extremely dense fleece with good character and a sturdy frame. Her first cria was born in May 2010; we were pleased not only with the quality of her cria, but also how easy the birth was and at how quickly Dolce-Latte took to motherhood.
Dolce-Latte is currently bred to ATV Silver Elation, an amazing Light Silver Grey male who gave us 3 for 3 -- 3 grey cria out of 3 different colored dams last season. Silver Elation not only produces Grey, his cria all have fine, bright fleeces.
We are offering Dolce-Latte for sale only because we must reduce our herd size; we will be sad to miss out on her 2011 cria! We feel the combination of Dolce-Latte and Silver Elation is likely to produce a spectacular grey cria given their backgrounds.
