Sire: Captain Nemo ARI#
849790 Dark Rose Grey We love Nemo. We all love Nemo, from our partners the Sweeney's at Celtic Criations to all who come to our farm. He is proud, he is stately, he is charming and he truly may be one of the smartest alpacas I have ever met. He definitely knows that he is king over his world, he controls his herd, and they all are much better behaved with Nemo around.
Nemo has many wonderful traits that he passes onto his progeny, from incredible conformation, exquisite fineness, lovely crimp, and excellent density. He stamps them - and you can always tell a Nemo cria. Don't get me wrong - they aren't cookie cutters. They are distinct and they have an attitude and a presence that is recognizable to all of us. And he also passes on his great temperment and his intelligence. You know the saying that alpacas don't challenge fences? Well someone forgot to tell Nemo. He challenges them all. We swear he knows how to pick locks. He knows how to escape from any fence, gate, paddock, or arena around. I have seen him shimmy under a fence - like a marine crawling under fencing in boot camp. And he has taught his sons. And this is because he has a one track mind - girls.
Here's a story: One late night Nemo decided it was time for a panty raid. And at 1am in the morning, he pried open a gate, he broke out of "camp"; and led 12 very very happy males over to the girls barn. The girls were thrilled, the boys were thrilled, perhaps I wasn't as thrilled......I had to get them all back. I know he was the instigator because i saw him do it. But to his credit, he also helped me corral one of the most indignant boys and get him haltered and led back down to the boys barn. Nemo pranced back to the boys barn, as proud as could be.
Ever since that night Nemo has been my buddy.
Nemo has many fine attributes other than being a girl loving escape artist. Nemo is as rare as they come... Full Peruvian, solid dark rose grey!!! This male has it all...color, fineness, crimp, charisma, presence, and atti
Dam: The Double E Tamara ARI#
813543 Medium Rose Grey Tamara is the farm matriarch. Perhaps it's because she has had 5 females and 2 males. That always makes a difference. She has the most beautiful big brown eyes. Her temperment is wonderful, unless it's those last days of pregnancy. Her female crias are all friendly and take after her mom. She has a beautiful solid medium rose gray in her saddle. Her first girl was before we acquired Tamara, her 2nd girl Lady Jane we purchased along with her. Lady Jane was my in-laws favorite and I thought I would be disowned if we sold her. The first girl we had as breeders was from Tamara and is Hannah out of The Double E's Hannibal. Hannah is beautiful, nice conformation, friendly face, bay black with some grey running through. Then she had a boy Indi Max, another farm favorite - one of the friendliest alpacas you would ever meet. And then she had Indi Max's full sister Autumn Dancer. Autumn is a light brown girl who has very nice high frequency crimp and a nice dense fleece, with a fine handle and an incredible dispostion. I think that she is really covering grey and may be a light rose grey. After Autumn she had 2 rose greys, one named "Crimson Ice" took a Blue at Empire and Isadora is showing tons of potential as a Captain Nemo girl. So she can throw just about any color. She has a 20.7 micron count at 7 years old and 5 crias! We love her. She isn't going anywhere!!
Description
Isadora is Is-A-Dor-a-ble. We couldn't help with the nickname! She is just the cutest thing. Isadora is a true daughter of our herd queen Tamara. Tamara has given us an abundance of beautiful females throughout the years, but Isadora is the first to acquire mom's color and the statuesque stylings of our Captain Nemo. Just adorable. She is one of the 3 Captain Nemo rosegrey girls all born the same week (well done, Nemo!).
Isadora is a proven female that produces beautiful offspring. If you look to enhance your herd with these great genetics, she will not disappoint!
Come visit us and see if Isadora is...... well.... still Adorable!!!
She has given us a great black male Fellini. She has been bred to Smokin Waves and we are hoping for a great cria!
