820302 Dark Rose Grey Looking for awesome genetics? Hootin' Annie's pedigree includes Peruvian Macusani G204 and PPPeruvian Yupanqui G018 plus The Goldsmith. Where else can you find a rose grey with accoyo, alianza and the wonderful chilean color of rose grey combined? Annie's sire is Peruvian Macusani's He's A Hoot.
Annie is a beautiful, conformationally correct rose-grey dam with coverage to her toes. Her fleece is dense and has a few spots on her that look like she has watercolors dabbed on her. it's really unique. She throws lovely award winning cria.
Hootin's Annie's 2003 cria was a handsome medium silver grey male, Hootin' Holler (HH won 4th Place at Mapaca 2005 from Julio Sumar and 4th place at Mapaca, 2004. Annie birthed beautiful solid dark brown Milena (over 20 lbs.!) on 7/17/04. 2005's choice for Hootin' Annie was the spectacular Earl Grey from Pawling Alpacas. This is a square, grey male with wonderful handle and crimp to his fiber. Earl Grey's 18.2 # son, Montenegro, arrived September 9, 2006, birthed by Annie unattended. Monte is a solid, lustrous true black. Monty has gone on to win 3 blues.
Hootin' Annie produced 20# rosegrey/white ADDW Grady on September 3, 2007. Grady has a dark rosegrey blanket. Grady becomes the last son of Silver Del Sol Codi. In 2008 she gave birth to a beautiful dark silver grey boy from the Black Ice line. He literally fell out on a crisp fall morning with steam rising all around him. We named him Smokin Ice !!! He went to his first show - as a 7month old and took a 5th in a very tough class. More to come on Smokin Ice. Hootin had a beautiful brown or maybe rosegrey little girl with white on her face and unexpressed grey in 2009.Just lovely!!! We named her Annie Oakley!!
In spring 2012, Hootin Annie is giving birth to a cria by our own Morning Mist Farm's Sienna Mist. Both have consistently produced lovely cria and we expect no less from this combination.
