Description

A Champion Full Accoyo Import!! Champion offspring. Not many of those around. Totally unique bloodlines. Give me a call and I can tell ya all about him

2006 Get of Sire winner! Wow! this guy is producing some stunning cria!....and the kind with 2 holes! in 2006 alone he produced 17 out of 20 females making his total numbers around 75% girls with over 40 cria on the ground! In 2006 DQ's daughter produced very rare FEMALE TWINS!

This sale is for HALF interest.

We acquired DQ for many reasons. We believe he is the rarest Champion Accoyo bloodline in the US. This guy had only only 17 offspring on the ground when we purchased him. The previous owner had a smaller herd. DQ is extremely dense, fine and crimpy with exceptional presense. DQ has produced color most of the time when bred to color! All his crias have had extreme sheen, super coverage, and fine density. DQ is consistently adding BIG bone density to his offspring.

Accoyo Don Quijote represents the rarest of Accoyo Genetics; being brought to the United States in utero; thus establishing a unique Accoyo bloodline for the American breeding pool. He has to date; 35females and 10 males. He has shown a strong propensity to combine his bold Accoyo conformation and fleece characteristics with the dam's color. All Don Quijote's sons have sold.

With the limited gene pool of available Accoyo genetics in the U.S., we believe DQ is poised and ready to offer the desperately needed RARE accoyo genetics that our industry is demanding!!! Don Quijote is co-owned with DayStar Alpacas

The AlpacaRosa has been tested as BVD-FREE . Our new breeding protocols require all incoming alpacas to show proof of negative PCR test for crias or a SN test of late pregnancy dam . All incoming females/crias at side will spend their visit in our quaratine pasture.
