Ambiance is another one born in 2016 and brought to our farm that we'd say has an outstanding pedigree. The only difference is that the other three we say that about, Lady, Millie, and Sally, were born here while we purchased Ambiance along with her dam Paris. Ambiance's dam is a true black MacGyver daughter and her sire is the 20 time Get of Sire winner Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar! Goldstar's Get of Sire wins include 3 at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. With Get of Sire wins like that we definitely think Goldstar is prepotent! Goldstar is a Rockstar son and Rockstar was sired by Torbio. The Rockstar offspring are known for the fineness of their fleeces as are Goldstar crias. Ambiance has a wonderful luster to her fleece and yes, it is a fine fleece. She is a beautiful with her lustrous dark brown fleece and black points Ambiance was shorn for the first time at about 1 year of age and had a sample submitted for EPD testing. Her histogram for a dark brown alpaca is especially good and was proof that the show judges were correct, she has a fine micron fleece. Her AFD was 22.4 microns with a SDAFD of 5.2 microns and she had only 5.8% of her fibers greater than 30 microns. She had a very good staple length growth at one year of age of 9.5 inches average. Those results lead to some good EPD results! (click on the EPDs link) Ambiance had an 18.2 lb male cria on 6/7/19. He is true black and is the last cria sired by SBS Crown Prince who passed away in the early 2019. His phenotype and fleece are outstanding and he was the 2021 AOA Black Male National Champion. Ambiance had her second cria sired by GLR Bronson on 8/4/2021. It is a true black male and he weighed 16.8 lbs at birth. He shows a lot of promise, too. Ambiance has been bred to Klondike for a cria due in 2023. Her pregnancy has been confirmed by an ultrasound.
