Encore produces BLACK to white! He carries a shiny DENSE and well-defined crimped fleece. We have two black offspring from Encore here at our farm. He is also a very sweet male, and his temperament passes onto his progeny as does his excellent fiber characteristics!

Leia delivered Princess Rhaenyra in 2022 sired by Encore. We liked that breeding so much we went back to Encore again. This time Leia produced a male version named Kylo.

Description
I can’t wait to get Rhaenyra breeding. Her fleece keeps getting better with age. And you would already expect it to be good with Encore as her sire and Princess Leia as her dam. Encore has sired many champions with Smokin Gun being his most decorated. But the female side of this equation is no slouch. Leia was sired by Snowmass Leonidus and out of our Snowmass Midnight Magic daughter, Moonlight Magic (Maggie). Maggie was jet black but her fleece rivaled white alpacas. Leila’s fleece is very similar and that has flowed down to Rhaenyra.
For breeding, we have a couple of options. To bring forward the recessive black she carries, we may use Party Animal or Shooter, but we also acquired the previously mentioned Smokin Gun’s maternal brother Rocket. We hope the combo of Encore and Smoke’s dam will continue to produce superstars. We will see who gets the job spring of 2025.
