2024 Huacaya Herdsire of the Year Medium Farm Division 2 2024 Reserve Huacaya Herdsire of the Year - Light Offspring This male has an amazing fleece, excellent conformation and beautiful head. He is Snow Diamond Absinthe, son of 7x champion CCNF Elixir who also is 2x judges' choice winner. Absinthe already has won two color championships and a judges' choice award in his first show season. Snowmass Matrix Majesty and CCNF Archangel run in Absinthe's dam's pedigree. Judges in two fleece shows have recognized Absinthe's "fine fleece with great uniformity" and "his high degree of fineness and uniformity." In a walking fleece competition, he had three perfect scores and one score that was just a point away from perfection. In halter he was named Judge's Choice at the 2019 Illinois Alpaca Show. Absinthe produces all the colors, including appaloosa and black! Absinthe's first cria crop included the 2023 AOA Supreme Champion Dark Huacaya Female H2R Queen's Jubilee. Jubilee was also Judge's Choice at the 2023 Futurity and sold to Oldenburg Alpacas and Madrick Alpacas in Germany. Other Judge's Choice offspring include H2R Truffle Shuffle and H2R A La Mode. His son, H2R Atlas, now resides as a breeding male in Poland. His offspring have been bannered at the AOA National Show in both halter and walking fleece. Meet our newest edition to our little "herd". This is Snowmass Infinit Passion. She is a gorgeous light fawn girl with an impeccable pedigree and amazing fleece to match. She just got off the trailer and we are LOVE already. Her fleece is dynamic in that it is crimpy, fine, dense, and has an unbelievably soft handle. In 2015 we decided the time was right to bring a herdsire of the highest quality into our herd. After much consideration we pulled the trigger and bought half interest (proudly co-owned with Snowmass Alpacas LLC) in Snowmass Velvet Touche (Son of Snowmass Touche (Sire) and Snowmass Royal Splendor (Dam)). We loved him SOOO very much we bought the other half. He is now solely owned by Happy Hounds Alpaca Ranch.
