Sire: Lancaster's Silver Centaur ARI#
30903562 Medium Silver Grey We are so proud of owning Silver Centaur and continuing what Alan Clark and Hernan created. We love the cross that Centaur throws. Wonderful fleece!!
Lancaster's Centaur is exceptional. This 7x Blue ribbon winner and Reserve Color Champion has it all - award winning dense, yet fine fleece that maintains a low micron, great color genetics, and he produces award winning cria. All of this make this a superb herdsire.
Lancaster Centaur's pedigree includes his famous sire 588 Peruvian Lancaster who himself is a 14x multiple blue ribbon winner, color champion and Get of Sire legend. Both Lancaster's fleeces are consistent and so are their show winnings. Lancaster Sr. has been called, by more than one judge: "the total package." Lancaster Centaur also has MFI Velveteen and 6 Peruvian Conan in his pedigree.
Lancaster Centaur exhibits the rare grey combination of superb fineness and density and he carries a very consistent, high-amplitude crimp style throughout his uniform grey blanket. His bone structure is very dense and he carries his correct frame very proudly.
Lancaster Centaur is a 7x blue ribbon winner including MAPACA and PAOBA shows and a Reserve Color Champion. Judges rave and praise his fineness, density and superior physical development.
Lancaster Centaur's fleece continues to be entered into spin-off competitions where he consistently takes 1st and 2nd place, even in the large shows of AOBA and MAPACA. You know you have a great grey fleece when the spin off judge comments "Wow!" for fineness and "Wow Wow Wow!!" for handle!
Lancaster Centaur's 2011 fiber biopsy results have confirmed what we have felt and seen all along . Norm Evans' comments were: "superior density, top-level gland presence (4 out of 4), high S/P ratio and lack of secondary medulated fibers. He is certainly on track to follow in his famous sires footsteps by maintaining fineness throughout his adult breeding career!"
Lancaster Centaur's crias all carry an amazingly fine fleece, AND they all have very square, solid conformation and beautiful, uniform heads and complete coverage. Lancaster Centaur produces black and grey crias 100% of the time when bred to black or grey dams, and 65% of the time when bred to other colors . . . including white! Lancaster Centaur's crias are winning in the show ring, placing no lower than second at Level IV and Level V shows. His crias are ranging from 14.9 to 21.7 AFD even in black and grey.
His grandchildren are incredible too! Man of Steel is one of them!!!!
Don't miss your opportunity to own or breed to Lancaster Centaur, this fantastic multiple award winning silver grey male, to put some fine, exceptional color on your herd and produce your own champion & award winning cria!
in 2018 - Lancasters Silver Centaur was in the top 15% of EPD's!
Dam: Rosehaven's Wine ARI#
30682191 Dark Brown Ahhhh deep RICH brown shading to bay black on her top line, legs, neck and head. Wow, what a beauty! Wine has excellent conformation, her fleece is consistent, fine, high freq, low amplitude crimp, very feminine head, lovely topnot.. given the depth of black in her points and shading in her blanket we are confident she carries black recessive from her sire...
Her Dam Gypsy is out of the famous Jampolsky herd - with Sorrento and Aladdin upline.. all old proven producers of outstanding lines today and full Peruvian.
Her Sire, Inti-Sapa---One word: WOW! So many champions and reserve champions from him - including Wine. Inti-Sapa has retained his fineness into this 7th year as a herdsire and PASSING this quality along to his crias, along with density and wonderful fleece architecture - and Wine is an excellent example!
Wine was Color Champion at the AlpacaMania 2007!! And took a 2nd place in stiff competition at the Monterey Pronk a few weeks earlier. And as we roll into 2008, Wine's FLEECE won Reserve Color Champion Fleece AlpacaMania 2008!!
Wine has given us one great cria after another!!! her last one is Barbera Bianca - and is gorgeous. She is bred to Centaur - and we are hoping for a lovely rose grey girl! Well we can always hope for rose grey!! she just keeps making the best cria!!
we have bred her to Tres Equis. this should be a lovely cria.
