We are thrilled by the production of RR Rose La Reina, Dizzy Gillespie's mom who produced the 2 densest females biopsied through Ian Watt, as of oct 2015.
The icing was on the cake with the coming of Dizzy Gillespie who has a superior phenotype in solid rose grey, with fleece "to die for". He is the 2017 AOA National Fleece blue ribbon grey, both rose and silver combined.
He also has excellent follicle density testing by skin biopsy:
Follicle density: 61.8/cm2
S/P ratio: 10.8:1
Mean primary follicle diameter (in skin): 26.8 SD 3.6
Mean secondary follicle diameter (in skin): 23.8 SD 3.3
Dizzy was breeding by his second birthday and his cria are outstanding and he is making gorgeous roans!

Gun's A'Blazin' daughters are a precious commodity. He is one of the most prepotent males that has come through our program and we are fortunate to have a number of his daughters in our foundation herd.
Adelina, out of RR Koyuki, is no exception, and brings some very strong lines into the mix.
She is beautifully conformed with excellent balance and proportion. Her fleece is notable for length, fineness, and beautifully organized bundles. She was bred to multiple champion roan RR Dizzy Gillespie and gave a stunning copy of Dizzy Gillespie in her beautiful male MRG roan cria. She has been re-bred to Dizzy for what I hope is another stunner. Due 11/7/22...
Description
We are "over the top" with this bay roan (modern medium rose grey) female.
She is a 5th generation roan sired by none other than Dizzy Gillespie. As for mom, it's worth checking out her serial histograms. We don't often see this degree of fineness sustained in a breeding female.
Her fleece is extraordinarily fine, which we can attribute to both parents. It is therefore difficult to appreciate the white fibers in her cria blanket fleece (the majority are likely secondary fibers under 13 micron) , but because the black fibers in a bay roan are more concentrated along the dorsum and neck, it is quite obvious in her neck fleece which is clearly a medium to dark bay roan. Roan will be obvious in her next fleece.
Breeding her to either Sherlock Holmes or Modigliani to consummate in a "double dominant" RnRn offspring is a "no brainer" should you want to send her back when she is ready to breed!
