838282 Medium Silver Grey Sired by Danko who is a phenomenal silver grey herdsire. He is well-known in the alpaca world for throwing champions of all colors, especially grey and black. He has excellent strong bone structure, extensive fiber coverage and passes a typey conformation on to his offspring. The fleece of his cria tend to exhibit very uniform and tight crimp throughout the blanket and have done exceptionally well in the show ring. Amazingly, he has sired at least one champion at AOBA in each year since 1999 in a range of colors from fawn, to brown, black and grey.
Danko was Sire of the high-selling alpacas at the 2000 AOBA auction.
Eponine had fall 2006 cria from 2004 National AOBA Gray Champ Peruvian BAM BAM. Her 2005 micron results were very good at:
MC=22.8, SD=4.6, CV=20.2, CF=94.7, Curve=44.7(40)
Her 2006 cria Pebbles was born 9/18/06 a medium fawn female weighing 18.2 pounds at birth. This cria has breath taking crimp and density much like our previously owned Seena's Goldilocks who took the Reserve Color Championship at the Nationals in 2004. Pebbles will be consigned to a high end auction in 2007.
Eponine was bred to Snowmass Nova on 12/7/06 and just had a beautiful Nova son born 10/17/07. Her son has been sold as a herdsire.
She was bred to Oro Negro a solid black Champion full Peruvian Herdsire we own on 11/21/2007 and just produced a female beauty called Zodiac's Black Widow who is a Champion.
She was rebred to Oro Negro a solid black Champion Full Peruvian Herdsire we own and had Sabine in 2009 who is a Champion too.
She was bred to Snowmass Enlightenment on 4/15/10 and had a future herdsire grey male Enlightenment's Enrique.
She was bred to Oro Negro for the 3rd time (all crias have been Champions)in 2011 and had a dark silver grey male Achilles in 2012.
In 2014 she is being bred to our super dense, multi champion fawn male Solariego.
Service Sire: Zodiac's Frango's Leviticus ARI#
35362845 Light Silver Grey Due Date: 9/14/2026 Rare Split-Color Male | Proven Producer | Unique Genetics
Take a look at this truly one-of-a-kind male. Levi is an incredibly rare alpaca—born half black and half light silver grey, split right down the middle. His striking coloration is unlike anything else, making him a standout not only on the farm but in the industry.
Levi was born in 2017, sired by JLFA Casanova’s Peruvian Frango (grey Casanova son) and out of Zodiac’s Black Widow (true black), combining powerful grey and black genetics into one exceptional package.
He has already proven himself as a producer. His first cria arrived in 2019, and they have been nothing short of impressive. His son Mario made a strong debut in the show ring, earning 4 First Place ribbons and 1 Second Place at just 6 months old.
Levi carries two distinct fleece types:
His grey fleece is very fine with high-amplitude crimp
His black fleece is soft with a bolder, more defined crimp style
This dual fleece characteristic makes him especially unique and adds versatility to his genetic contribution.
Levi consistently produces eye-catching cria with strong fleece traits and interesting color patterns. His offspring reflect his uniqueness, making him an exciting option for breeders looking to add something truly different to their program.
Levi is a rare opportunity to incorporate distinctive color genetics, proven production, and strong fleece traits into your herd.
Description
Grey Genetics Female | Proven Producer | Bred for 2026 Cria
Graceful Fawn is a lovely female backed by strong grey genetics on both sides. She is out of Eponine, one of our original foundation females from Patagonia, known for producing high-quality greys and blacks. Her sire, Spalding, is a striking modern rose grey male with 10 Championships to his name—bringing both phenotype and proven performance into her pedigree.
Graceful Fawn is a well-balanced female with a calm disposition and has proven herself as a consistent producer. Bred to our unique male Leviticus, she delivered an outstanding cria who earned 4 First Place finishes and 1 Second Place at his first show weekend at just 6 months old—an early indicator of the strength of this pairing.
She followed with a promising young black male in 2021 and a medium silver grey cria named Lightning McQueen in 2022, further demonstrating her ability to produce quality across color.
Graceful Fawn has been bred back to Leviticus and is due for an early September 2026 cria. With her production history, this repeat pairing offers exciting potential for another high-quality, show-worthy offspring.
Graceful Fawn is a dependable, easy-keeping female with proven genetics and a consistent track record—making her a strong addition to any breeding program focused on grey and dark color outcomes.
