35238706 Dark Fawn If we do our job right, every year there always is a core group of crias born into our herd that we know fairly quickly are *very* special. CCNF Dreadnought was part of that special clique within the 2015 birth class here at Cas-Cad-Nac and was one of the first -- but by no means the last -- alpaca born here to show just what a potent cocktail the genetics of CCNF Elixir and Snowmass Matrix Majesty could combine to make. Certain lines just work well together and Elix and Majesty have basically been having an epic genetic bromance ever since.
On his sire's side, Dreadnought brings in the genetics of the mighty CCNF Archangel, our our old foundation female 5Peruvian Cangalli (now deceased), and of course the inimitable Snowmass Elite Legend, who once upon a time also laid his head here at CCNF.
Dreadnought's dam, CCNF Prima Majesty though obviously a daughter of you-know-who, is maternally out of our now aging SuperNova daughter and former AOBA National Champion, CCNF Bellarina, whose mother in turn was our old rock star dam, PPPeruvian Pachelbel. So on paper and pedigree alone, Dreadnought is really easy to get excited about. Then you look at the package: dense and fine, with a highly organized fleece that just shines. He is in short everything we were looking and hoping for when we bred his parents together. As it turns out, we were even happy that he was born with testicles as well!
Fresh off of his final jaunt around an actual show ring where he was the RC Fawn Male at the 2018 Futurity, Dreadnought is now a proven Herdsire. If early returns are any predictor of things to come, we are nothing but bullish about what the future holds for this exciting Herdsire!

Golden Sovereign genetics finally come out to play at auction, in particular the most important private auction of the calendar year: the Parade of Champions sale, held this year on 5/31 and 6/1 as ever at beautiful Little Creek Farm in North Salem, NY!
Moonglow is a card-carrying member of the most potent family in our breeding program, the same maternal line that produced 4 of the last 6 Judges' Choice huacayas at the 2017, 2018, & 2019 Futurity shows (CCNF Oriflamme, CCNF Sovereign Legacy, and CCNF Valyria 2x)! Moonglow is as sure of a genetic bet as any juvenile can be.
Her dam, CCNF Moonlight, is the reigning matriarch of the family line with a history of producing alpacas of such amazing quality and consistency that we have 6 females (Moonlight herself, her three daughters, and 2 granddaughters) from that line expecting crias here in 2019 along with multiple crias sired by CCNF Moonraker, the token Herdsire in the bunch that is also Moonglow's older maternal brother. Needless to say, we have a pretty good idea of how to work with this family and it's genetics, so on the off-chance that folks don't understand what's on offer here at the POC, we will gladly (even giddily!) absorb a 7th female member of this clan back into our breeding program. Check the record, it's all there to be found on the AOA database and it's really quite unassailable.
Last but certainly not least, Moonglow was sired by CCNF Dreadnought, our multiple Championship-winning Elixir/Majesty cross Herdsire whose first crias were a constant and highly visible presence on our 2019 spring show teams. Suffice it to say that the upside potential on this gorgeous young female is very high. Like all of our maiden females, Moonglow is offered for sale with both her first breeding included to any Herdsire owned by CCNF and a full reproductive guarantee.
