GVA Secret Rendezvous
Suri, Female, Proven | Bay Black
ARI# 31865456, D.O.B. 6/29/2011,
Sire: GVA Belefonte ARI#
31445931 True Black Belefonté proudly displays his beautiful black, dense fiber in tight pencil locks to the skin with outstanding luster covering correct conformation with good bone density. He has a beautiful typey head and a stunning presence.
Everyone who lays hands on this male is amazed by his silky cool fleece dripping with luster rarely seen on a jet black animal. We have personally found this male to have a very sweet disposition that fits perfectly with our high standards!
Belefonté's 2010 success story includes three blue ribbons and Color Champion at 2010 AWE and he did it again at the highly competitive 2010 GWAS with another Color Championship.
Under stiff competition of 2009 AOBA Nationals (over 800 suris in attendance) Judge Tim Lavin said Belefonté was clearly the winner in his class of nine juvenile true blacks from the best breeding programs in the Nation. His show record to date includes 16 Blues, 4 Color Championship and 2 Reserve Color Championships. His offspring are also doing well in the showring.
His four generation Suri pedigree is heavily weighted with blacks and deep color so this is not a guessing game when it comes to decisions for your dark females.
If you are looking for a deep black with exceptional locks, luster, density, and a powerhouse pedigree in a herdsire that is of smaller frame at #160#, Belefonté deserves serious consideration.
We only offer drive-by breedings but will consider traveling to your female within 100 miles of our ranch.
Update: Congratulations to Hidden Creek Alpacas on their full ownership in this amazing male!
Dam: Accoyo Maurizio's Victoria's Secret ARI# 1018240 White
Service Sire: Saber's Red Storm Rising ARI#
Medium Brown Due Date: 5/17/2019 We are thrilled to have Saber's Red Storm Rising at our ranch in Marin County, Alpacas of Marin. This is a truly magnificent male with locking and luster that cannot be believed! His conformation is stunning and so are his championship crias. He has won SIX TOP LEVEL CHAMPIONSHIPS, including an AOBA color championship!! (Those are "level 5" Championships...TOUGH Competition...) And Red Storm's Crias are now winning!
Red Storm completed his show career with a Reserve Color Fleece Champion at Nationals 2010...
Red Storm's sire, Meadowgate Peruvian Saber, took the 2010 Reserve Suri Herdsire of the Year" award. His dam, Miss Nina, has produced numerous champions. We fully expected this beautiful young Saber son to live up to his potential, and he has not disappointed us.
June 2009 Update: Red Storm does it again...winning the COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP Banner at the AOBA/NATIONALS!
AND Red Storm Rising won the JUDGE'S CHOICE Championship at the Buckeye Show in Columbus, Ohio. He competed against ALL the Male Color Champions for this prestigious award.
This phenomenal medium brown male is 1/4 Accoyo and boasts his Accoyo lineage from Baron and Torbio, Red Storm Rising is the full brother to show winning Saber's Katana. She took Reserve Color in full fleece and also brought home the Reserve Color Champion ribbon from the 2008 National show with her fiber.
Red Storm Rising was destined for the show ring with his fabulous luster, locks, coverage, presence and pedigree. Now he is doing equally well in the breeding pen, and that's what really counts--right?! Red Storm's sire has produced champion after champion. We are expecting the same incredible cria from Red Storm.
And now, his offspring: Red Storm is the epitome of "prepotency"--passing on his outstanding characteristics to his offspring and now to the offspring of his offspring! His first cria, Curandero, ran away with multiple championships including Judge's Choice Fleece at the International Alpaca Odyssey. Curandero now has several "knock out" crias on the ground, who are beginning their show careers. Red Storm's second cria, Perfect Storm, again took several championships before being sold. HIs third cria, (true black out of a fawn dam) SoCal Sweet Crude, has 3 or 4 blue ribbons to her name.... Looks like Red Storm has "the right stuff", alright! And all his crias are either black, or darker than their dams.
Red Storm is co-owned with SoCal Suri Alpacas and Tanglewood Suri Alpacas, and is at our North San Francisco Bay property, Alpacas of Marin.
50% Interest available to the right partner, and he is available for 100% purchase as well. Auction price is for full ownership.
Description
Secret Rendezvous is one of 6x Champion Belafonte's very FIRST crias to hit the ground! We are positive she is show quality! She took a 2nd Place at California Classic 2012!! and a FIRST PLACE at GWAS 2012!! She carries a fleece worthy of her sire. Lustrous dripping black fleece! Square frame, stylish head and correct conformation!
Secret Rendevous's sire Belefonte - wow what a stunning male. Belefonte proudly displays tight pencil locks of lustrous black, dense, silky fleece. Belefonte's show record has filled his ribbon wall with blue, and purple banners, leading to have high expectations for this male and he has exceeded them in spades.
Secret Rendevous's dam, WOW AGAIN! really NICE FLEECE - LOOK at her fiber numbers.. 8 years old and still and AFD of 26 and a SD of 4.6 - how often do you see older suris HOLDING their SD under 5!!! AND that can produce BLACK.. WOW. AND ACCOYO genetics to boot! (Accoyo Maurizio) Victoria's Secret has been bred to Black twice and produced DF and DB.. so Rendevous carries deep color on both sides of the pedigree.
Rendevous is currently bred to Saber's Red Storm Rising, 2009 AOBA National Champ in Fleece and Halter and Best Lock. In addition he has 3 Additional champion and took Judges Choice in the Buckeye Show (level 5). Knowing what Rendevous has already produced this should be a spectacular cria. Due May 2019.
