In 2015 we decided the time was right to bring a herdsire of the highest quality into our herd. After much consideration we pulled the trigger and bought half interest (proudly co-owned with Snowmass Alpacas LLC) in Snowmass Velvet Touche (Son of Snowmass Touche (Sire) and Snowmass Royal Splendor (Dam)). We loved him SOOO very much we bought the other half. He is now solely owned by Happy Hounds Alpaca Ranch. Meet our very first girl born to Happy Hounds Alpaca Ranch. Her mother is Crescent Moon's Starbright whom is a proven mother of champions and her father is the one and only Aussie .38 Special. These parents paired together have only produced banner winners. Be sure to check out her son she gave birth to last year 38's Totem NS who took Reserve Champ at the Futurity as a juvenile. We are very excited about this girl. The moment she hit the ground we knew she was going to be stunning. Her cria fleece is unbelievably soft and already forming tiny little micro bundles.
