As a 2.5 year old , we took Admiral down to OABA to show in a class of 12, "The finest fleece in the class" Tim Laven stated of Admiral. .
Admiral's sire SCA Peruvian Magnum was just recently purchased for $140,000. We believe Admiral is his best son to date.
Admiral is the only male member of The AlpacaRosa's Fab5 Dream Team. His lineage and amazing fleece qualitys need no explanation of why he has been placed on this elite team
Admiral has sired approximately 20 offspring and he is stamping out his brightness, fineness, and his beard. He is full Peruvian and 3/8 Accoyo . Accoyo Camilio, Peruvian Camelot, Accoyo Royal Fawn, and Peruvian Magnum are the male names that most of you recognize. The females in his lineage are: National Champion Royal Velvet and the $205,000"Dam of the Century", Misty Maiden. Refer to our Miss Priss webpage to read more about Admirals royal genetics.
We co-own Admiral with Jim and Sharon Miller of Redwood Ranch Alpacas in Cincinatti
Dam: Accoyo Felix's Moraine ARI#
823518 Light Fawn
This past year, Moraines crias, Balbina and Sasha, Chiquita posted the following microns 15 AFD age 2 for Balbina, 18 microns at age 4 with 3 micron avg difference between Primarys and secondays(Sasha), and her 12 month old daughter (Chiquita) came in at 13 AFD......this was recorded at 12 months old NOT 1 day old!
Nice opportunity to purchase one of our lingering Fine foundation females with awesome bloodlines at a low point in the market. Sieze the Day!...... But it wont break my heart if nobody buys.
Moraine has held on to her fineness pretty well with an 8 yr old micron of 25. She is sold with a 7/8ths Accoyo fawn Cabos offspring at side. Moraine is an Accoyo Felix daughter, and Accoyo Victor grandaughter. She has given us 6 girls and 2 boys! Most of which tend to be show winners with Low microns. is it crazy to sell her?
We have never offered Moraine up for sale until Now.
This year she has an Accoyo Cabos son, 7/8ths Accyo fawn . She is being sold with cria at side
A proven producer of color, Moriane gives us something to look forward to each year. Moraine is a very rare 3/4 Accoyo/ with the remaining 1/4 from the Macho Accoyo Region. Some might say she is "full Accoyo"
Moraine has some very impressive bloodlines. Moraine is "Felixy" FINE and "Victoriously" crimpy. WE shouldn't underestimate her Dam's contribution here: She has incredibly fine fiber as well, and Moraine's granddam, Elizabeth(on the dam's side) still maintains a 20 micron at 10 years old!!!.She is the sister to NWA, LTD Jean, dam of Barringer and the $7500 per breeding, Jericho.
Moraine is very large boned with a nice straight topline. She has beautiful peach colored crimp along with good density
Moraine has produced a rosegrey girl, and a Dark brown girl, when bred to a silver gray sires. She produced 3 other fawn females and a white female, all of which were 15 micron or under at age 1.

Tuscan Black represents a NEW Peruvian black bloodline with no blacks in his pedigree, he is WIDE OPEN for any black breeding program....... Know of many blacks that sheared 3.4 lb blankets with a 20 afd?..... Now you do!. Shop and compare!
Second year in a row that our Futurity Champion, Crystal, gave us a black Tuscan Gold cria. The first, AROSA Dazzlyn, won 7 banners
Tuscan Black has all the signs of becoming a special boy. Very fine with brilliant sheen and high frequency crimp lend us to believe we may have another black champion like his 7X Champ full sister AROSA Dazzlyn, his 5X champ dam Crystal, and his 5X champ sire, Tuscan Gold.

This is our Lingering fineness breeding program at work! We are very excited with what we are producing with regards to LINGERING fineness. We want the fineness to hang there in the teens for 4-5 years.
If you have been around on our website, you have probably noticed that we do quite a bit of mixing Victor/Misty Maiden bloodlines with fineness and crimpy results.
Balbina is very fine as mentioned earlier, and considering her sire, Admiral, she will likely maintain her fineness for years. At first, we had a difficult time judging her density but as the weight/micron numbers concluded , she is very dense. She is very balanced, with excellent bone and coverage. Balbinas dam, Moraine, always makes big boned girls. When we describe her fleece characteristics, one picture is worth a 1000 words. Obviously she is very bright & shiny with medium frequency crimp and bundled quite nicely demonstrating a very organized fleece. I'm forecasting at least one of those purple banner thingys!.
Balbina has some excelent lineage: Accoyo Felix, Accoyo Camillo, Accoyo Victor, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Camelot, Misty Maiden. Balbina is half Accoyo and full Peruvian. She is also related to NWA JEAN and Jericho.
She sells with a free breeding to any of our champion males and we guarantee a Female!
Her sister,Sasha won a few blues last year in the beige classes and is maintaining a 17 micron at 2 years of age. She is the only reason that we consider selling Balbina.
We elected not to show Balbina this Spring as she was on the small side of normal(68lbs. at 8 months old)and her fleece was short because she was shorn in September. The judges seemed to be dinging smaller alpacas this year and not considering shearing dates. Balbina continues to grow normally and we plan on showing this fall
