31068468 Light Silver Grey Donato represents spectacular genetics no matter what color, but as a Grey, he is amazing. I sold his mother to Crescent Moon in 2005, perhaps a mistake! When Coco Chanel produced Donato, I knew I would like to get her genetics back on my farm. We all realized Donato had star power early on. Sleek and macho good looks, meant all that remained was the growing up. Well grown-up he did, into a beautiful specimen of handsome style, off the chart density, and fineness and crimp to covet.
The Crescent Moon family and I collectively have great hopes for this Futurity Champion. Donato’s excellent density is a starting point when talking about his glossy and silvery gray fleece. Part that density and you will find advanced staple development, good fineness and abundant definition within the staple. Donato means gift and we have seen enough alpacas to know that he is just that!

31799744 Bay Black Smokey’s Peruvian Sunset 08 is a gorgeous Bay Black female that I acquired from Delphi Alpacas a number of years ago. She has produced some outstanding cria for me. Especially to my liking is her Avatar daughter Halley, and her Donato daughter Cutie Patootie. I also especially appreciate her genetics, which include Royal Fawn and Accoyo Express.

Skyline Alpacas makes a point of offering our very best at auction. Skyline’s Cutie Patootie is everything we could have hoped for when we bred her Dam, Smokey’s Peruvian Sunset, to our 10X Champion, Crescent Moon’s Donato. Cutie Patootie has style, density, gorgeous crimp and great confirmation. The judges felt the same. Too young to attend the first show of the season, where Uptown Girl, Lot 6, took Reserve Color Champion, but at our second show, CABA Classic, Cutie beat Uptown Girl taking a 1st in Juvenile Silver Grey. Then, at the NW Alpaca Showcase, these two girls switched places with Uptown taking 1st and Cutie Patootie taking 2nd. It is hard for me to say which of these two I like the best, but with both in the auction, you get to decide! Cutie Patootie’s maiden breeding is included with her purchase. You can choose any of our outstanding herdsires.
