North Star is a striking Medium Silver Grey male with exceptional fleece and pedigree. North Star’s Sire is the famous, full Accoyo Rose Grey, McGwire, now deceased. McGwire sired many wonder offspring during his day, including Emerald Farms Orlando Cloud. North Star’s Dam is our Black Color Champion Ventura’s Lola. Lola, at 5 years of age, still has a 21.0 AFD fleece with a soft velvety handle. North Star has inherited fine fleece characteristics from both his parents. His fleece is dense and uniform. He exhibits a well-defined crimp as well as brightness and excellent staple length. North Star is also conformationally strong and has a proud stance in the pasture. This is a male we would like to keep, but we had many grey boys in 2010 and we can’t keep them all. He is sure to be a great addition to your breeding program.

We named her Sophia after Sophia Loren because of her mesmerizing eyes. We were captured by Sophia--her presence, her style and of course her fleece. No surprise here, as she is the product of two of the best on our farm. Her Dam, Gabriella, is our Reserve Color Champion Nautilus daughter that continues to produce some of our best cria. At 7 years of age, Gabriella still has a 23.5 AFD and 17.8 CV! Sophia's sire is Snowmass Nova’s Nuance who has produced many outstanding cria for us including Choco-Latte. She sold at the AOBA auction for 27K and went on to win a color championship for her new owners. Sophia’s fleece is dense and has a high frequency crimp just like her Dam’s. She also is bright and has impressive fineness… 18.4 AFD on her 2011 histogram. She has great conformation and is very easy to work with. She is the all around complete package. Just look, her 2013 histogram is 20.3 AFD, 4.2 SD, 20.8 CV, & 2.7 % 30u. Sophia is yet another female we would really like to keep but we just have to reduce the number of females on our farm.
